An Evening in Town [OPEN]

Devin nodded and practically skipped her way towards the bus station. "Oh don't worry, he's cool." Whether her words were reassuring or not was another thing. Once the reached the bus stop, she sat down on a bench and waited alongside the other kid. She sent a text, probably telling her friend where they were. "Next bus isn't for a bit, so maybe he'll get here before it does after all." She made a small 'hmm' noise and shrugged.

"So what do you normally do? Other than breaking into boardwalks after hours. What's fun for you?" She probably asked that already, but she had a short memory sometimes.

It wasn't long before another kid came along. This one was tall and definitely looked like someone that Devin would call a friend. Just as much of a freak as she was. His hair was dyed in rainbow colors along the front and he was wearing a galaxy printed hoodie and the rest was all black, including the combat boots on his feet. He slid onto the bench and wrapped an arm around the girl for a second in a quick squeezing hug and then let her go. He seemed quite excited. "What're we doin? Boardwalk? Fuck yeah. Let's do it."

Devin chuckled a bit and rolled her eyes. "Skyler, this is Felix. He's a lunatic. But he's fun."

"I got you fam. Anything you need or want, I can get it." Well, at least he wasn't lying.
