APPEARANCE
William stands at six feet and weighs approximately 160 lbs with an athletic build. He has shoulder length hair that is a ginger color with green eyes. He usually keeps his hair tied back in a ponytail when he is not at home. Since he works as the school nurse he wears a coat that is specifically for work with white gloves, pants, and shoes to go with it. When at home or off of work he is usually seen wearing more comfortable clothing such as a shirt and pants. William wears a golden locket necklace with a jade stone embedded in front under his shirt at all times as a memento of his time as a student at the school. He has a couple of scars along his chest and back from an accident he had while attending the school.
PERSONALITY
William is a rather friendly individual, always enjoying the company of others and getting the chance to make new friends. He doesn't mind listening to people's problems as he tends to them for whatever reason it was for them to come to his office. Despite being an extrovert and a bit of a spazz, he can be rather professional while he is working. He can be a bit of a jerk towards people who annoy him as well, but always does his best to remain polite to people even if he wants to withhold medication or give them something at times. He can be easily irritable when under plenty of stress, often times not wanting to be around people less he snaps at them.
He is willing to go out and get a few drinks with friends and just hang out if it means he can unwind from a work day, especially a rather stressful one. He doesn't much like to talk about his family much unless it is with someone he is rather close to mostly due to the emotional pain he receives when remembering his family. He likes to disguise his troubles with a smile and topic changes, not really liking to 'burden' others with his own stuff.
HISTORY
William's childhood was a fairly normal one, however about his freshman year of high school his father had been diagnosed with cancer. William put off school the best he could to try and help his father out around the house despite the presence of his mother there urging him to go back to school. The doctors had found the cancer at stage three, not giving William nor his parents much hope of a recovery from it. It was about this time that he had been visited by a person who had informed him that he could attend a boarding school on a scholarship, a school much further from where he had currently lived. Unbeknownst to him this person who had visited him had been the harbinger of Pestilence, having been watching him while his father had been diagnosed with cancer.
He reluctantly agreed to go to the school while his father undertook chemotherapy in hopes of fighting the cancer. It took some time for William to get accustomed to the school, having been put into the Pestilence group under the Peace alignment. Over time he got into the groove of things and made friends as he stayed there, learning his studies and everything that came with being a part of this school. Things went on rather smoothly for the most part, William having a few hard days after speaking to his parents from time to time over the phone. However, about his senior year he had gotten a call from his mother about his father passing. This...did not go over well for him.
It was while he was trying to form a bond with a prospective mount that his mind was too busy and muddled with the death of his father. Things went wrong and he ended up getting hurt, thankfully nothing too bad which just left him with a few scars on his chest. He took leave from the school after that incident and spent some time at home to attend his father's funeral, a letter being sent to him on the offer to try again. William wasn't sure if he could leave again, but at the same time he had no idea what to do back at home. In the end he ended up going back to the school to finish it out, but failed to reach the goal of becoming a harbinger of the apocalypse. Instead, he was given the opportunity to stay on as a member of staff at the school. It was rather better than leaving and forgetting everything about the school itself aside from his education.
He agreed and soon enough decided to take on the role as the school nurse at the school. He has set into his role rather well and enjoys it quite a bit.
