Face Claim: CC // Code Geass
APPEARANCE
Moxi is the kind of woman who doesn’t take up a lot of space but catches an eye upon general inspection. The most notable piece is her striking moss green hair that falls right above the center of her back. Coupled with that is her eyes that commonly fool those who search them. They appear a light brown but they’re truly shocking yellow but Moxi offsets their intensity with the serene gazes she offers. Obsessed with her reputation as a sage, Moxi will often gravitates towards wearing flowing clothing and bangles that give her the appearance of a spiritual individual. Though she tries not to flaunt her physical assets, Moxi can become unnerving to many due to her standing at 181.53 or the taller part of 5’11”, which she carries a healthy weight along with. Henceforth, Moxi tries her best not to appear anything but calming and airy but her genetics fight against her.
PERSONALITY
“A blossom of aconitum in your garden, a person to marvel at but you must be careful with. Many may say that she has thorns underneath all that beauty.”
The green-haired student invokes a myriad of different reactions among the populace. On the forefront, Moxi presents serenity as her strongest attribute. Despite her status, she doesn’t appear to carry any sort of melancholic expression. Instead, she opts to let positivity radiate from her very being, as such she adopts many quirks to support her desires. She doesn’t walk or march anywhere, she’s more inclined to frolic. Coffee is too bitter for her; she would sooner drink some delicate tea (with milk and sugar). Supportive to her peers, many refer to Moxi as a den mother, taking in many wayward individuals. Even to her enemies, Moxi doesn’t try anything besides try to pacify any ill intentions.
Nevertheless, her reputation does carry some of her more subtle personality traits. The individual that Moxi tries to be isn’t exactly the person she always was. As such, there are still pieces of the person she once was underneath everything now. Words dripped in honey may dissolve into venom if she doesn’t find a person agreeable. Engrained deeper underneath that is a morally numb individual, and perhaps a sadistic streak. Moxi is someone to trust with your secrets but only when she trusts you to invite into her good graces. If not, it’s unsure what kind of outlook she has on everyone else—or even the world itself.
HISTORY
"Death is a friend to every man because they are there when no one else is."
When the young girl with a broken smile came into the school, her history was something that didn’t remain secret for too long. Moxley “Moxi” Grimhildr was at the center of a “culling of an entire family” as reported by those who found her. The Grimhildr bloodline nearly came to an end, and many suspected it to be by Moxley’s hand. However, no evidence could be found regarding her doing the deed. Furthermore, evidence of someone else’s involvement began to appear alongside the strangeness of the case. If she did do it, there was an accomplice. It was unlikely, due to the fragmented state that they found Moxley in.
The facts about the murders began to paint an even weirder picture. It happened on a random day. The family had gone for vacation to their nation of their lineage, Denmark. Returning to a house that once kept generations of their family, the time of strife that was coming for them didn’t reveal itself until it was too late. A father found dead at the doorstep as he had just opened the door. Bloodstains were behind him, indicating that the assailant was inside of the house…and was waiting for him. A mother didn’t make out of the living room to get to the children upstairs. She was found asphyxiated on the stairs with blood trickling down the steps. An older brother was killed in front of a bathroom, probably curious of what noises was happening just near him. His throat was attacked, something quick and fatal. Finally, an older sister was found last outside of the bedroom, dragged out of there to be slain.
Yet, Moxley? She was found sitting on her bed with only blood on her. It was her older sister’s, but no one was sure how or why it was there to start with. Nevertheless, processing her was taking ages. Investigations kept turning over and finding new pieces that never led anywhere. Alas, the young girl kept talking to herself.
“I could have been anyone. I could be anyone. Isn’t that a bit scary?”
“If I could get away from here, what could I do?”
“School sounds lovely right now. I can make some new friends, right?”
Soon, no one could find where Moxley went. Without a trace, she was gone from seemingly the world itself. A living nightmare had come to visit Moxley and kept her company in a time where she couldn’t feel any more alone. She never asked a name, but she was offered it to build trust. A girl like her shouldn’t be talking to strangers. Moxley never thought that Death would try to help her out in any way but reaping her life. Nevertheless, Death whisked her away to a school gone from anything else. She saw all kinds of people that she didn’t know—people with such interesting stories.
The young girl with the mossy hair walked into the Academy without a stain of blood on her, unlike what was found before. She took to her studies immediately, never spoke a word, and did exactly what she was told. Yet, the marvelous thing about her was that despite any proclamations against her, she kept a smile on her face. It was thin and obviously forlorn, but she did all she could to smile in the face of adversity. Perfect marks for the girl who may have slain her whole family. Most importantly, she found an answer to her hardest question.
She could be anyone.
So why not be wonderful? Because there’s already terrible things out there.
