APPEARANCE
Jakuta takes great care and pride in his appearance, not out of vanity but because he believes one should be presentable at all times. His hair is a tall forest of snow white waves which almost always lay in a backward pointed position. As far as his build is concerned Jakuta isn't too far out of the range of what would be denoted as average, not particularly skinny or overweight. He possesses moderate musculature due to his commitment to meditation and regular athleticism, such as cardio and yoga. The teen sports no additional modifications like piercings or tattoos, his dark skin is the same as it was when he was born. The dark, almost golden, skin and white hair certainly make Jakuta stand out in a crowd but nothing accomplishes this more than the fact that he stands at 6 ½ feet tall.
He has a strange aversion to the school uniform but conforms during school hours as he must, however, outside of that time he wears his own tailored sort of uniform consisting of black pants and black shirt designed with a gothic style of white stitch work and a lightweight red cloak.
PERSONALITY
Jakuta is quite reserved, keeping his thoughts and emotions equally private. While he has no problem socializing with others it is a rare occasion that he would choose to do so. He finds others, especially those on the Chaos side of things, are entirely too emotional and underdeveloped in their thinking and maturity thus he doesn't willingly mix with them too often. He has a particularly holier than thou attitude and a viewpoint that can often cross into the realm of narcissism, though these are not things Jakuta takes issue with even if he understands others may find it problematic or at least annoying. Even with the view that he is superior to most others Jakuta doesn't particularly shun anyone and it does not prevent him from being kind, it may be that he finds those things unimportant though.
Self betterment is immensely important to Jakuta, it is his personal drive in his pursuit of becoming the newest Harbinger post Academy life. He is committed to study as he truly believes it is the mind that is a person's greatest and most powerful tool, a position that causes him to find those who obsess over strength to be laughable. He trains his mind just as well as he trains his body, he can be found with a book in his possession at any given moment.
It is Jakuta's personal belief that he has been chosen for something great and there is no obstacle that he would not entirely obliterate to reach that goal.
HISTORY
The Musa family dynamic was nothing outstanding, they weren't the overly loving and cutesy type that took Christmas photos together every year but neither were they steeped in family secrets and darkness like an abusive drunkard parent. The Musa's simply lived and loved each other. Jakuta's great grandfather had been someone important he had heard, though he'd never met the man so how could he be sure. This importance apparently meant an inheritance that the bloodline could share.
The entirety of Jakuta's family lived together in a villa that overlooked the small village his great grandfather had been born in. Aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, and cousins all lived under one roof - the place was more than large enough to accommodate them all. This idea of family togetherness however would prove to be their undoing. Either by accidental or nefarious means, no one can be quite sure, the entire estate burned down in the dead of night. When morning came Jakuta was the only member of the Musa family left alive.
Once rescued and informed of his status as the sole survivor Jakuta was initially stricken with shock, understandably so. He had come to view his survival as either meaning he was chosen for something greater or doomed for damnation. Everyone around him had died, his entire family was gone and for some reason he was the only one to make it out alive. It took Jakuta a number of years to look at his life in a more positive light. Death was not a villain to be feared, all things died at some point. Death was unbiased and equal in all terms. Jakuta made the choice to believe surviving the fire that killed all the rest of his family meant that he was destined for something more, something great.
Becoming enrolled at the Shadowhaven School for Prospective Harbingers was a great highlight in his life, it was the confirmation needed to solidify his destiny. He had been approached by an established Harbinger of Death who sensed the welling potential within him. Jakuta is now determined to become the next Death Harbinger.
