Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! Aiden could be seen lounging in the shade on the porch of the building leading to the dormitories. His ankles were crossed, the bottom of one foot pressing against the railing as his back was pressed to the wall, as a sketchbook was in his hand. His eyes were trained onto the paper as he used a sketching pencil to sketch a picture he was working on for class. Homework one could say he supposed. He was still in the fourth year's white uniform as he sat there, his focus flicking from the paper to his current inspiration to be used as his homework piece. One wouldn't really be able to tell something was mentally wrong with him with how calm he was, just sitting and sketching away without a care in the world. His focus entirely set on his current project. Though, people who knew him knew better than to underestimate his calm demeanor to be something that lasted for long. It wasn't like he was a crazy person picking fights constantly or hurting people, oh no...this calm was more of one that his mind was...quiet. Those intrusive thoughts about anything and anyone simply muted for the time being. He paused to stare at his work for a moment before he continued to fix something that had caught his eye, slightly irritated but not bothered all that much. It was just a rough draft and mistakes were meant to be made. A few more minutes passed before he eventually closed his sketchbook and set the pencil down atop it on his lap. He stretched his arms above his head before relaxing with a content noise escaping him. At least he didn't have any more classes for the day, leaving him to his own devices or something for the remainder of the day. A soft huff escaped the fourth year before he turned his attention over to his homework inspiration and reached a hand out, nudging her knee. "Food, you can move now too. I'm done with the rough sketch." He spoke up finally, his voice smooth and sounding almost bored. Perhaps he was bored, or perhaps...well, he probably was bored to be honest. Though he was calmed at the moment, mellow even so that was always a good thing. [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

Rhian Advrik 291 words notes | It was a warm day outside on the school grounds, and tucked underneath the shade, Rhian was sitting on the porch with a fellow student. She had a book on her lap, keeping very still, only letting her finger gently move across the raised bumps that spanned across the pages, mind translating them into words. She could hear Aiden's pencil scratching across his own paper, but it was mere background noise to her, not enough to distract her from her reading. Her muscles were starting to feel sore, but she resisted the urge to stretch them out until she was given the ok. A touch to her knee she lifted her head slightly, loose bangs falling in her face. She brushed the stray strands out from her face, tucking them behind her ear, though they fell back into her face.
Chuckling softly she reached into her back with a careful hand, searching for the male's treat. Eventually she pulled out a small bag that had a variety of baked sweets that she'd made, all intact as she held it out for him to take. "I have some more if you'd like them too." Once he took the bag she took a moment to stretch, making a content noise before tilting her head towards Aiden. "So, how's it look?" She asked curiously, not so much to know exactly what Aiden drew, since she couldn't see it, but she did like listening to the descriptions anyway. She could hear his bored tone, making the corner of her lips twitch in amusement, coming up with a large cookie for him to have as well. It still amused her how much Aiden just loved sweets.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! Aiden flicked his eyes over to the small bag of baked sweets that the girl had made, reaching a hand out to grab the bag. He settled it on his sketchbook for the moment as he opened it and reached in to grab a cookie to begin eating. At the question, the fourth year grunted from around the treat in his mouth and shifted the bag to place on the ground beside himself so he could open the sketchbook again. It really was just a rough sketch of the girl looking down at an unknown item, really it just being from the shoulders up. He lifted a hand to scratch an itch at the back of his head near his ear, eyes scanning over the picture in silence. Then again, he was more interested in finishing his cookie first. She could wait for his description, he had a treat to devour. After a few minutes he finally finished his cookie and licked his lips to capture any excess crumbs. He was silent still as his mind turned for a good enough description for Rhian to imagine in her mind, tapping a finger against the edge of his sketchbook. "Obviously it's you," he began, "your hair is soft and brushes against your cheek. Your face possesses serenity from whatever your hidden gaze is focused on, your lips are curved slightly in a smile." He paused as he shrugged a little, tilting his head a little as he looked at the rough sketch. "It also has a bunch of lines because it's just a rough sketch. Your eyes, by the way, don't really show your pupils because you were reading. It's only from your shoulders up though, I'll have to do a couple of touch ups before I move onto the next step after the rough sketch." He spoke up, closing the sketchbook once more before he grabbed the bag of baked sweets once more. "I'll be adding colors to the final drawing, but that won't be for a while." Rhian Advrik 305 words notes | Rhian had a feeling she would have to wait for Aiden's response, and she didn't mind waiting. She took the time to loosen up her stiff muscles, giving them a few good stretches before pulling her legs up to tuck them underneath her. She adjusted her book on her lap, making sure it wasn't at risk of falling off and tumbling down the steps if she wasn't holding onto it the whole time. It seemed to be fine so she distracted herself by reaching into her backpack to pull out a special, special treat for Aiden. It was in a sturdy little plastic box, settling it right on top of the book on her lap while she waited for Aiden to finish the sweets he was eating.
She perked up as the description began, smiling softly as he tried to explain what he sketched in a way she'd be able to understand. She thought it very sweet of him to do this for her, describe things that didn't require visual foresight, since she completely lacked knowledge in that area given everything is just, empty to her. Not many people initially thought to do this until she'd point out that she had no clue what 'green' was, or what a 'stop sign' was. She'd never seen them after all. So of course she immensely appreciated when Aiden would do this for her.
When he finished speaking she beamed vaguely in his direction and held out the small plastic box. "It sounds lovely, Denny! Here, a little something extra for you." She gently opened to box to reveal a red velvet cupcake, topped with rich cocoa buttercream frosting in a swirl with little bits of chocolate chips on top. She'd even added some in the batter. |

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! He made a small face at the nickname she called him, giving her a look despite the fact that she couldn't see it. He could never get her to quit calling him that, so all he could do was make a face but just roll with it. A soft sigh escaped him before his attention moved over to what else she had brought for him. A brow raised a little at the sight of the cupcake within the box, his eyes flicking up to her before going back to the box with the cupcake. He reached a hand out to grab it, looking over it a little before he used his other finger to wipe some of the frosting off to taste it. "Mm, that's good." He commented around his finger, nodding a little in approval. Ah yes, he liked his food giver. If it meant he could keep getting treats like this then he'd keep her happy. He pulled his finger out of his mouth and wiped it on his pants to dry it off, glancing towards her once more. "You spoil me too much." He commented, turning his attention back to the cupcake once more to pull it out of the box finally. He glanced down at his uniform and made another face before he put the cupcake back into the box and closed it with a small huff. Right, he should probably change out of his school uniform first. "I'll have to eat this later, since I'm still in the school uniform at the moment." He spoke up, shaking his head a little as he shifted from where he sat on the porch. After a few minutes he shifted to stand up, stretching a little before he re-positioned his sketch book and pencil in his grasp as well as the box with the cupcake in it.
