Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! The music pulsed and throbbed through the eighteen year old as he leaned against the edge of the bar, glass in hand with what appeared to be a concoction of an alcoholic beverage. His eyes scanned over the people within the club doing various things; some dancing on the floor, some standing around talking, and some even flirting or making out with one another in some booths nearby. He raised his glass to take a sip from it, a burning sensation flowing down his throat after he swallowed. It was a Friday night so curfew was extended a bit for the upperclassmen, and that was the exact reason why he was in the club. It wasn't like he was very interested in actually partying, but it was different and he enjoyed observing people. He could fake interest if he wanted to as well, and that was exactly what he was doing at the moment. He shifted a little, the chains on his belt clinking together a little but the noise was drowned out from the music that filled the club. He scanned his eyes over several people that briefly caught his attention, merely scanning his eyes from each person from head to toe before he looked away. His interest was not held for long as he took another sip of his drink. Such people who frequented this place seemed rather outgoing and whatnot, but not enough of...something to keep his attention. Granted he did have someone he was attached to back on campus, but...would it really be called a relationship? Would he be considered a boyfriend? A soft breath escaped him as he shook his head slightly, deciding to let those thoughts drift away. He wasn't here looking for a hookup anyway, just a way to find a way to relax in a more...suitable manner. [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci wandered around the restaurant, going from table to table to check on her customers. Some were pleasant to work with well others, not so much. Time seemed to fly slowly as she had collected receipts to drop them off at their respective tables. As soon as customers paid the bill she would be by to collect them before having another teammate clean the table off so that the next customers could take a seat there. A few minutes before her shift ended and she found herself still waiting on another customer to order their food. They wanted something healthy and though she had already given a suggestion the customer just couldn't seem to decide on what they wished to order. It wouldn't be long before the next server would be coming to replace her since it was almost time for her to clock out for the day. She had wandered over to the table, asking if they were ready to order, only for the customer to get snippy with her. It had only been twenty minutes since they had taken a seat and yet the customer acted like she had been waiting only five minutes or so.
She ended with an apology, before adding that they'd be getting a new server and it was a pleasure serving them this evening before leaning the new server in their care, thankful that she was leaving instead of having to put up with them any further. She removed her apron before putting it away before moving to the cash register to clock out. She then would slip outside the back door and head towards the school. Thoughts swirled in her mind, how she hadn't told Morana about the text thread. I mean the last thing she wanted to do was risk trouble to come from it. She texted Morana as she walked back, having planned on going straight home. A nightclub came into view the closer she walked towards it. She had a fake identification card, mostly so that they wouldn't be limited if they desired to drink even though minors weren't permitted for such luxury. Back at home, her grandparents had allowed her to drink small potions when in celebration, so it was difficult to resist even though it was against the law. She paused outside the nightclub, looking at it before slowly making her way towards the door, showing her identification card before being allowed inside.
The music played in the nightclub as she made her way passed people to head towards the counter. Aiden was leaning against the counter, he looked somewhat familiar but she wasn't sure where she had seen him from before, since it was possible he had come to her restaurant. She pushed the thought aside before moving next to him, waiting for the bartender to notice her so that she could order her drink.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! Another sip was stolen from the glass in the fourth year's hand before he sensed a presence to his side. Silently he turned his head towards her subtly to scan his eyes over to the girl. What was she doing? He looked away, though, and turned his attention back over to his drink in his hand. His eyes once again moved over to the other patrons in the nightclub going about their business. A soft huff of annoyance escaped him when someone bumped into his shoulder, having him cast the random stranger a cold look before he shifted himself to face the bar counter a little more. His attention once more moved over to the girl there before he set his glass down on the counter with a sigh. He lifted a hand to grab the attention of the bartender, waiting a moment for the person to come over. "Another one for me," he commented in a smoky tone. He cast his gaze down towards his glass before he lifted it and finished it before he set it down to slide towards the bartender for his refill. Once it was refilled he grabbed his glass once more and pulled it up towards his lips, turning his head to look at the brunette beside him. Just her demeanor alone seemed so out of place in here. "I can only assume you do not frequent bars from how you were able to flag down the bartender. Oh wait, I did that." He gave a light shrug before he looked away, lifting his glass to take a sip of his drink. He was careful to not drink too much, after all it was pretty frowned on to get drunk. Though, with the medication he took it was probably a bad idea in general to drink alcohol in the first place. He wouldn't die though after taking only a few drinks. He'd live, plus it wouldn't hurt him. He doubted he'd run into his food giver any time soon anyway, so it wasn't like that mattered either. Just straight back to the academy and to his dorm room after this little excursion out in the town. Maybe he should also read his medication bottles once more when he got back, but for now that wasn't really at the forefront of his mind. Right now, all that mattered was that he had a drink to finish and to further see if he could find some form of...something. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for still, but he wasn't all that sure he'd even find it later. 434 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci chose to be patient, knowing the bartender would get to her when they could. Besides the last thing she wanted to do was risk drawing attention to herself. Of course it was hard when Aiden had turned around and waved the bartender down while she was waiting for it to be her turn. Any chance of being next was lost when he ordered a refill before she got a chance to even order a drink yet. Aiden might have thought himself lucky, to steal the bartender's attention like that when she was waiting patiently for her turn. Of course when she thought it couldn't get any worse, it seemed to happen because Aiden's bragged about it later. "Whether I'm frequent at bars or not is my concerned. You must be really proud that you were able to get your refill before I could order." She whispered back to him. Finally the bartender was ready to take her order and she gave it to him.
The glass was set in front of her and she reached out to take a sip of it. Morana, I wish you were available to be with me... Work was dreadful today and somebody kept texting me for crap and it was clearly a wrong number and they wouldn't take my answer for it... She thought to herself, still annoyed that she might not hear the end of it with whom ever had texted her in the first place. The drink seemed to keep her mind calm, even though she was reminded of those frustrating things, unaware that the one who texted her was right next to her. The music played on and she couldn't help but attempt to ignore it as she allowed her thoughts to continue swirling. It didn't help that she was underage and had to worry about possibly being caught later, but for now, she knew that remaining calm would be key in avoiding attention being drawn to herself. Once more she lifted the drink to her lips for another sip, making sure to savor it.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! The fourth year rolled his eyes a little at her reaction, not really able to hear her words but he could guess that it wasn't much good or nice. He lifted his glass once more and took a sip, turning his attention away from her. He closed his eyes for a few moments, merely listening and feeling the music that pulsed through the club. It was definitely something to experience, to actually feel it go through him. It felt nice to an extent, though it wasn't enough to relax all that much, sketching or painting did that the most for him. He opened his eyes after a few moments and looked down at his drink, staring at it for about a minute before he lifted it and took a swallow from it. The music had changed to another song that was just as equally energetic and pulsing. There wasn't much else to do but drinking occasionally was fine enough. Damn that number he had texted, just who was it if it hadn't been that bloke he met up with earlier? "Tch.." He shook his head and pulled out his phone, pulling up his messages to look at that number before he typed out a message there. Who are you if you aren't that stupid bloke?215 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci listened to the song, feeling somewhat forced since she wasn't exactly able to ignore it. She was in the middle of drinking when her phone vibrated, having turned it on because it had been off during her shift at work. She thought it had been from Morana, not from the wrong number from earlier. You have got to be kidding me.... You again? She thought to herself as she debated on how she would reply back to the message or if she would chose to wait till later. Instead she found herself texting him back. 'I think based on how you wrote me earlier, I'll be saver not answering that question.' She texted back before slipping her phone into her pocket, planning on ignoring it the rest of the night. Sorry Morana, we'll have to chat when I get home. I don't want to be checking my phone only to be disappointed in seeing that it wasn't from you. She thought to herself, lifting the glass to her lips she took another sip only to notice that it was empty.
You've got to be kidding me. She thought to herself before waving the bartender down exactly how Aiden had only moments earlier. Turns out he had taught her something useful, who knew. She handed her glass over, waiting for a refill before taking it back. I would change my number but it would just complicate things in the long run for me. Oh this really sucks. She thought to herself, savoring her drink once more, unaware Aiden was the person texting her in the first place. Had she known, she wouldn't have gotten a refill but left on the spot to avoid have further trouble with him. I think I should leave after this drink, the last thing I want to do is get drunk before I get home. She thought to herself, trying to make this last as long as possible. It wasn't like Morana would be available even though they share a dorm.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! A brow cocked when his phone had received a response to the text he had sent, reading it for a few moments before he lifted his gaze to scan his surroundings. So quick...but the person who had responded to him surely couldn't even be here now could they? He turned his attention back to his phone as he lifted his glass to his lips, taking a slow sip from it as he contemplated on what to reply to that response. How...interesting. You are doing a terrible job at getting me to back off. It would just be better for you to come clean. Just know that once I find you...you will wish I hadn't.He paused for a moment before he sent it, shrugging slightly as he slipped his phone into his pocket. He kept his hand in his pocket over his phone as well, perhaps so he could feel the device vibrate in case he received a response from this mystery person. Perhaps the last bit of his text sounded threatening, but oh well. It wasn't like he really...cared much about other people's feelings. He was learning, yes, but he still did not care much. He shifted his footing once before he moved to lean against the bar once more, this time facing it fully. It'd be time for him to head back to the academy soon enough, but once he was finished with the drink he currently had. There was, without a doubt, the smell of smoke and alcohol on him; which honestly wasn't that much of a surprise considering where he was currently and with what he was drinking. At the very least he was sure he would be a little tipsy, though luckily he had the idea to not ride or drive anything into town. Then again, he had walked so perhaps it was a bit of an unsavory predicament to get back to his current home. Perhaps he could get a ride or something at least to the gates of the school or even the road. After a few moments he turned his attention back to the girl beside him, not that she looked all that familiar anyway due to him not really bothering to pay attention to people's faces if they were insignificant to him. "What are you doing here alone anyway?" He questioned her smoothly, tilting his head to the side slightly as a strand of his hair fell into his face. His eyes scanned over her, from head to toe and back up again, before he lifted his glass and took another slow sip from it. "How often do you drink anyway?" 444 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci felt the phone vibrate in her pocket and couldn't help but feel uneasy about who likely had sent her a text message back. Don't look at your phone, don't look at your phone, don't look at your phone.... She thought to herself, somewhat curious on what had been written this time. Knowing the person, they likely weren't going to give up on texting her anytime soon so the best thing to do would be to try and wait it out, see if they got bored and later losing her number. Thoughts continued to swirl in her mind, somewhat curious on how the hell that person got her number in the first place. Surely it wasn't just a lucky guess, right? Aiden had adjusted to face the bar fully and it took all of her effort to not react to it. For some reason she felt safer when he hadn't been looking at the bar as she had but now that he was, it almost seemed like his attention might be all on her.
As if to confirm her worries, she glanced over to see him looking at her before she looked away from him once more, unaware that he had only barely turned his attention towards her, choosing to assume he likely had been doing so the whole time. His question had caught her by surprise, she looked back at him, giving him the are you serious look. "What, am I not allowed to be here alone or something? Besides maybe I'm waiting for somebody." She bluffed, curious on how he would react to it. It wasn't anything personal, she just didn't normally talk to anybody at the bars if she managed to go there, hell most of the time Morana would be with her, but this time she had come alone. It didn't help that her thoughts were previously on the person that had texted her when they appeared to be trying to get a hold of somebody else.
"It just seemed like something worth going to after I finished work." She explained, figuring there was no harm in admitting it to him. She sipped more from her glass, pausing when she heard his question. "Not often." She admitted, finding it more as a treat over something to do often. The text continued lingering in her mind and she pulled her phone out of her pocket to peek at it being huffing at the reply. "As if...." She mumbled before texting back, 'Find a different number to bother....' Her hand tightened on her phone as she debated on adding more to it or not. She glanced back at her drink to see it was empty. Well isn't this just peachy. She thought to herself before pushing the glass away from herself. She knew it was time to leave, the last thing she wanted to do was risk being found by the one texting her, unaware that Aiden was right there.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! Aiden kept a straight face, if not nearly bored looking, as he listened to her response about waiting for someone. He didn't show if he bought her story or not, but turned his attention back to his glass as he took another sip. However, at her next words he turned his head a little to look at her once more, tilting his head to the side slightly. Oh? Well, it had to have been obvious with how she flagged down the bartender in her experience at going to places like this. He shrugged and turned his gaze away, watching her out of the corner of his eye as she pulled out her phone. Was she texting the person she was supposedly waiting for? He subtly watched her for a few more moments before he turned his attention to his glass and finished it. He shifted a little to pull a wallet out of his pocket, opening it up to pay for the drinks he had. "Aren't you going to pay for your drinks?" He questioned her, not even bothering to look at the girl as he put his wallet away. After that he took a step away from the bar counter and turned to face her a little, slipping his hand into his pocket once more as the chains on his belt clinking under the noise of the nightclub from that movement alone. 233 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci ignored Aiden as he shifted to pull out his wallet, too focused on her cell phone as if staring at it would ensure no more text messages from this person. She was pulled from her thoughts when she heard his comment, it made sense since she had shoved the glass away but she hadn't yet left the counter. "Is that your way of hinting you want to pay?" She asked, slipping her hand into her pocket to retrieve her wallet before pulling some cash out to pay for her drinks. She would then slip her wallet back in her pocket, sighing in relief that she hadn't gotten a new text message yet. She moved away from the bar, only barely noticing that he was looking right at her. "I wasn't serious." She answered, thinking maybe he had thought her comment to be. Hopefully not because she had already paid for her drinks and even if he had been offering the answer still would have been no because she only allowed Morana to buy her things. The music had changed once more and she found herself lingering a little bit longer. What could she say, it was a good song after all.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! The fourth year gave the girl yet another straight face as he just stared at her words of not being serious, a brow cocked slightly. "Why would I ever buy something for you?" He stated, his voice now just toneless as his eyes pierced the brunette before him. His phone had vibrated in his pocket once or twice, but he had ignored it while he was paying for his own drinks. He turned his attention away from her and pulled his phone out of his pocket, soon taking a few steps away from the bar as he opened up the message. He scoffed lightly at what he read, soon lifting his gaze to look around the room before he shrugged and pulled up the camera on his phone. He turned it towards the girl he had barely chatted with at the bar and snapped a photo of her, the flash being off, and proceeded to send it to that number he had been going back and forth with. Perhaps that would throw them for a loop, or just confuse them all the more. Now just who do you think I should bother? He sent the text right after the picture of the girl, turning away to walk towards the entrance of the club since he seemed done for the night. Of course, he'd have to figure out a way to get back to the academy without walking hopefully. However, he stood there by the entrance, still within the club, and scanned his eyes over the other patrons in there, phone in hand as he awaited yet another text from this mystery person. Perhaps if he found out who this person was...he could torment them for a while or until he got bored of it. Now that...that would be fun indeed. 302 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci couldn't help but flinch slightly when Aiden had asked why he would buy anything for her. Maybe it was his tone but the fact he had said it gave her reason to not further give him conversation. The last thing she wanted to do was bother the shit out of him. Tension wasn't on her to due list and if she could avoid it, then she would. She couldn't help but smile slightly when he had turned away from her, having peeked at her phone she saw that she had no new messages. She wasn't paying attention to him until she heard a snap of the photo and saw his phone was aimed right at her. The nerve, how dare he take that photo of me! She thought to herself, somewhat annoyed as she watched him walk towards the entrance of the bar. Her phone vibrated and out of everything that stranger could send to her, it was her own photo. What? How'd he... Wait, was that him? Oh my god, if I had known I wouldn't have stood next to him at the bar. I wouldn't have even come in here.... She thought to herself, sighing slightly as she debated on what the hell she would do about it.
Did he know it was me when we first started talking? I mean he took my picture so he must have thought so. She thought to herself before taking a breath. I guess if I want something done, I'm better off just mentioning it. The worst that can happen is that I caused trouble for myself. Should I text Morana? Warn her I might have trouble? No, I don't want to worry her. She thought to herself, glancing at her cell phone once more before she looked around the nightclub before heading towards the entrance. To her relief he was still there. She ran towards him before moving to stand in front of him. "Bother somebody else besides me and delete my photo right now!" She demanded, having to huff before adding, "If I had known you were the one spamming me I wouldn't have stopped at the nightclub tonight." She answered, annoyed that he had her photo on his phone. She clung to her phone in case he decided to do something that would require her to reach out for assistance.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! Aiden put his phone away when the brunette approached him, demanding for him to bother someone else and to delete her photo. Oh? Now if she knew about that then... A cold sneer crossed his face as he crossed his arms over his chest, keeping his eyes trained on her. "Oh, so you're the annoying person I've been texting..." He spoke in a low, smooth voice, a voice that could only be described as...a predator hunting its prey. He took a step towards her, using his height to his advantage to intimidate. "I think I'd rather keep this photo. Especially now that I know it's you." He tilted his chin up as he sized her up. She was definitely no threat to him, and now...now he supposed he could just have some fun. "If you don't want this photo circulating the school..how about you do what I say, hm?" He spoke up, confidence, and whatever else that made him himself, exuded from him. He turned away after a moment, not really bothering to wait for her response, and walked away, leaving the club and heading outside. He stretched his arms above his head as he stopped at the edge of the sidewalk, eyeing the street for any cabs about or even a bus to get him home. "I really do hate being nice...but you should catch a ride with me. Best to not walk home at this hour, who knows what people could do to lone girls, hm?" He spoke up, turning his head to look at the girl that was his current victim so to speak. "I mean, I can think of plenty of things people could do to you, but I'm not interested in you in that way." He added, shrugging as he flagged down a taxi he spotted approaching. Once the taxi came to a stop by the curb, he opened the back door and stepped to the side as he gave the girl a pointed look. "Get in if you know what's best for you." He spoke to her in a low tone, eyes emotionless as they were trained on her once more. "You don't want everyone to know you were in a nightclub, now do you?" He added, tilting his head to the side slightly as he gestured with his free hand for her to get in before he would after her. 401 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]

let's leave the world for the ones Perci rolled her eyes back at Aiden. "I already told you that you had the wrong number, take a hint." She countered back at him. The way he spoke to her, it reminded her of why she felt wary earlier, now he just proved it. Aiden took a step towards her, it took a lot of effort to stay in her spot, determined to encourage him to delete her photo off of his phone once and for all. Standing over her, it was a struggle to feel brave when he was towering over her like this. Typical. She thought to herself as she looked up at him. What? Did he just black mail me? That jerk. She thought to herself as she stared back him, giving the are you serious, look. As much as I don't want the school finding out I was in a nightclub, I don't want to do what he says. I should have gone home and told Morana about this. She thought to herself, slipping her cell phone in her pocket.
Aiden turned away from her before walking away. She stared at him, debating on her options here until she saw him exit. She slowly followed at him, noticing his arms stretched upon his head as he waited at the edge of the sidewalk for what was most likely some form of transportation. Despite it being a crazy action, she was content with walking home, even though walking was double the amount of time. She flinched when she heard his comment. Is that so? She thought to herself, being pulled from her thoughts when she heard his reasoning for why she should go with him. As much as she wanted to counter, he had a point, but then again, his reasoning isn't the only method a girl like her could get into trouble either. It wasn't exactly a good idea to get in a vehicle with a stranger either. "I suppose your claiming I'm safest with you then?" She whispered, not really caring if he heard her or not.
He flagged down a taxi, once it came to a stop Aiden reached out to open the back door before allowing her to get in first. If she felt wary about getting in with him before, she certainly felt it when he threatened her. "Shut up." She whispered, slipping into the taxi, moving onto the other side so that he could have his side and the middle all to himself. "So in other words, you do plan on taking me home with you. I mean it isn't like you know where I live." She whispered, hoping that was the case, she was still in her formal attire after all.

Done already? Aiden Kimiko But the fun has just begun! The fourth year said nothing as he watched the girl get into the taxi, soon following in after her and shutting the door after himself. He didn't even mind when she had slid herself to the far side of the taxi, leaving him his side and the middle seat to himself. He leaned forward to give the taxi driver the address of where he needed to go before leaning back again, soon hearing her whispered words to which he turned his head to look at her with a deadpanned expression. He stared at her in silence for about a minute before he scoffed and gave her what could only be a cruel, cold face. "I won't even buy you anything, what makes you think I'm going to bring you back to my place?" His tone was cold, nearly venomous as he kept his eyes trained on her. He didn't even bother looking out the window as they drove off, he did enjoy making her feel uncomfortable so he continued to stare at her with a hint of malice in his eyes. "You must really be desperate to be going to a nightclub and then assuming I'm going to take you back to my place." He paused as he leaned towards he, a slight sneer crossing his face. "Now, just what were you expecting me to do to you? No...surely you were just fantasizing about me doing all sorts of stuff to you just from the mention of me taking you home. You wanted that, didn't you?" He purred out, his tone a rather chilling one. He leaned back once more and tilted his chin up a little, his expression turning cool and bored once more. "Just don't forget who has the upper hand here, behave and maybe I'll reward you." He spoke up, cocking his brow a little as he kept his eyes trained on her. "Be a good little pet...and your little secret is safe with me." He told her in a low tone, keeping his eyes trained on her for a few more minutes before he finally turned away to look out the window in silence. After several more minutes the taxi finally came to a stop before the gates of the academy, Aiden reached into his pocket and pulled out some cash and leaned forward to give it to the driver before getting out. Before he shut the door he leaned back in and looked at the girl, an arm resting against the top of the car. "You're on your own now, this is my stop. Don't think this is the last time we'll be meeting. I do have your picture and number after all..." He tapped the roof of the car once before he leaned back and shut the door. After that he walked away from the taxi and towards the gates of the school, to which they were still open due to it not being curfew just yet. He didn't bother looking back as he walked up the drive to get onto the campus, hands in his pockets as he breathed in the cool air. 522 words ♰ @perci ♰ notes [googlefont=Shadows Into Light][googlefont=Gabriela]
