Zhao, Zian

APPEARANCE

Zian has a fair skin tone and a slender build. He is a bit on the short side, only standing at 5'4" and approximately weighs 103 lbs. He has black hair that goes down just past his collarbone as well as bangs that hide his forehead a bit; his hair has a fuchsia highlight on the left side of his hair. His eyes are a similar color to his highlight in his hair. He is known to enjoy cute outfits, often times dressing up in such outfits when he is not in his school uniform. He also enjoys wearing silk or velvet chokers. He also wears a black chain-link bracelet given to him upon entering his third year at the academy.

PERSONALITY

Zian is a rather energetic and friendly individual, often seeming preppy at times. He's happiest most when he can enjoy sweets and wear clothes that are not only fashionable but cute as well. He can be a bit aloof when meeting new people, but can warm up rather quickly. However, he does have times where he can be a tad snobbish and talk bad about others behind people's backs. He is polite and courteous to people face to face, mostly due to his upbringing. He is an avid fan of sweets and is known to get rather bubbly when there is talk of them or he gets to help make some. He also has a hobby which includes designing clothes, often times wanting to find people to help try them on and design the clothing further. However, when someone makes a seemingly negative comment on what he is wearing he tends to take it personally.

HISTORY

Zian comes from a city somewhere in China, his parents wealthy individuals and owning a clothing line. He was brought up with his older sister to be respectful and polite when interacting with people, always having the need to uphold the Zhao family image. He had a fairly normal childhood, often times being spoiled and used as a model by his mother to allow people to get first looks at outfits she had helped create in aims to sell such clothing. He had no qualms about it, he quite enjoyed being the little model and getting such attention from people.

He adored the attention he received from not only his family but other people, which also allowed him access to interesting events and items. This lasted a few years along with being put through a private school with other prestigious children of wealthy families. Even in school he made sure he'd be the center of attention, however his source of attention would fade a bit due to his mother getting pregnant after being told she could no longer have any more children. His unborn sibling would be known as a "miracle" child to the family, and once his sibling was born she was given a bit more attention than he was for the time being.

He couldn't understand why his younger sister had been receiving so much attention while he had not, was it because he didn't look cute anymore? Did he become...ugly a bit that people would rather pay attention to his sister? It was from here that Zian had begun to develop some self-image insecurities. He did his best to dress up in flashy and fashionable clothes to draw attention to himself just to be looked at. He was getting older, he knew that, but he still hated the fact that people, his parents included, had a new person to fawn over. Wasn't that just for him though?

Some years passed and Zian had come to resent his younger sister a bit from all the attention she now received along with being spoiled as well. He still did his best to get attention and people to look at him, but would quickly become insecure and take small comments that he viewed as negative personally. It was about when he was approaching his first year of secondary school, or more formally known as high school, when he was approached by a person on...something. His mind couldn't comprehend what this being was sitting upon, nor the fact that only he could see such a thing. Luckily enough for him he was mostly alone for each visit from this person, being told of a school where he could make a difference and become an important person to reveal the deepest desires of people. He wasn't so sure about such things, but he supposed if he could regain such attention he craved for it wouldn't hurt to try.

The school was definitely far from his home, but there no one would know him and perhaps he could manage to get all the attention he so craved. He agreed to go and ended up telling his parents of an over-sea boarding school that could help him progress in his interest of fashion. Since he has attended the school he has managed to overcome his insecurities for the most part, feeling like he belongs there and knows what he is doing. He is currently in his third year and aims to better himself even more.
