☽ Poison dripping in our blood, Blind devotion's not enough ☾ The history teacher was quiet as he made his way down towards where the stables were located, a lunch bag in hand with a rather unreadable expression on his face. He didn't really like trekking down to the stables, but the idiot there needed to eat as well he supposed. He paused at the entrance, scanning his eyes about the aisle of the stalls that held invisible creatures within. He could hear a shovel scraping against the ground from within one of them, but to which one he was not entirely certain of. It reeked, it truly reeked within there. The man took a big breath of fresh air before he walked into the stables, slowly breathing out as well as breathing in shallow breaths to have himself become more acquainted with the stench. He kept walking until he came across a seemingly empty stall, spotting a man with purple hair in there. He remained where he was until he was noticed, raising a brow only in response to being noticed before he raised the lunch bag with an unamused expression. "You should eat. Finish up with whatever you're doing and come out." He spoke, lowering his hand and turning away to find a place to retreat to. However he wasn't quite sure where to venture off to just exactly so he decided to remain where he was as he admired the amazing nothing that peered back at him from another stall. How amazing. Just what sort of creatures, or rather horrors, dwelled within those stalls? That only certain beings, people really, could fathom? A soft sigh escaped him, perhaps out of annoyance, as he turned his attention away from the invisible creature and towards the stable hand as he exited the stall. "Don't you dare try to come close to me until you've cleaned up in the slightest bit." He snapped slightly, taking a step away from the no doubt dirty man. "Hurry up now, I do not wish to stand in this place forever. Where do you normally...eat? If you can even do such a thing that is." He added on, tilting his chin up slightly as his brows creased and his lips curved downwards a degree. This man was only in this predicament because of such a thing he did, and there was no one to blame but himself for that. How...stupid of him. What a complete idiot indeed. Tieri La Schade It was just a normal afternoon as far as he was concerned. Some students had come in earlier to help take care of the mystical creatures that called this place home. He had to wonder whether or not they existed out there in the real world among the humans and no one really knew. Still, he had a job to do, cleaning up after them, making sure they were fed properly. He was always happy when the students would come and help, mostly because that meant less work for him in the long run.
He heard someone enter the barn and stables, and wondered for a moment if it was a student that was lost or someone looking for somewhere to sneak away by themselves. Either way, they didn't belong here. But the sound of the footfalls alerted him to the fact that it was an adult. He continued doing what he was doing as the other person mentioned something about finishing up and eating something. He shrugged a bit in the stall he was working on, but quickly finished up and made his way out of the stables.
"Oh. It's you." His voice sounded a little less than enthusiastic as he wiped his hands on the front of his shirt. "And where exactly am I supposed to do that, huh?" Luckily he kept a bit of hand sanitizer in his pocket, which he took out and squirted into his hand before rubbing them somewhat clean. "That's the best I can do. What's for lunch?" His head tilted to the side a bit as he glanced at the bag. Then he looked around. Odd. Where was Salem? His brother was always around for lunch, but apparently he forgot today. At the question he motioned towards a tree just outside of the fences. "I eat over there most of the time." He shrugged again and led the way before plopping himself down on the ground under the tree, leaning back against the trunk. "Seriously. What are you even doing here?"

☽ Poison dripping in our blood, Blind devotion's not enough ☾ The teacher rolled his eyes a little at how the man cleaned himself up before leading the way towards a tree just outside the fences. Oh, thank gods it was outside in the fresh air. He felt like he was going to die if he stayed in that stench-filled place any longer. He stopped a foot away from Tieri, looking down at him with an unreadable expression as he just handed the bag over to the man. "There are sandwiches inside, so don't get too excited." He spoke up, deciding to not answer his latter question as to why he was even doing here. Honestly he didn't really know the answer to that himself. He shifted his footing to look elsewhere, a hand slipping into his pocket as he decided to remain standing. It was his break currently, but he knew that it would be over soon enough and he'd have to get back to his own classroom to begin teaching once more. "Had it ever occurred to you what might have happened to yourself when you had decided to bring your brother here? You ruined every chance at something more; and all for your brother..." He trailed off, keeping his eyes trained on a random object in the distance. Again his lips curved downwards a degree, brows scrunching together slightly in what appeared to be thought. "Have you ever regretted your decision?" He asked him after about a minute, finally turning his attention towards the sitting man he stood by. "If you were told the consequences of your actions prior to what you did...would you have still repeated it?" He tilted his head to the side slightly, again his face remaining emotionless as he fixated his gaze on the stable hand. Odd, and perhaps invasive, questions for lunch but it was what came to his mind at the time. He couldn't really help but ask such questions if he wanted them answered. Tieri La Schade Tieri shrugged a bit as he grabbed the bag, learning that there was only sandwiches in there meant literally nothing to him. Food was food, even if it wasn't extravagant or anything. After all, he took what scraps he could get when he could get them. But the man remained standing there, asking him all of these questions about regretting his decision when it came to his brother. He shook his head. "There is nothing that I would not do, would not give, to make sure that Salem has the life that he deserves to have. I don't care what that means for me. I wasn't going anywhere here anyways. It's not like you're much better off anyways, so why do you get to judge me?" He asked, an almost sharp note in his tone.
"Salem is my brother. He's the world to me. Maybe you don't know what that feels like." He mentioned taking a bite of his sandwich. It was probably a good idea to put something in his mouth to keep him from regretting anything else that might have come out of it.

☽ Poison dripping in our blood, Blind devotion's not enough ☾ He turned his head to look down at Tieri as he spoke in response to his questions that he had asked him, raising a brow at his latter comment before he watched him put the sandwich in his mouth. He was quiet for a few moments before he released a near silent sigh followed by him moving to sit down on the ground beside the stable hand. "I do know what it is like to have siblings." He spoke up, pausing as he looked away from the man to look elsewhere once again. "I know what it is like to try and take care of your siblings while being beaten repeatedly by a father who constantly thought his wife and children always lied." He went on after about a minute of silence, still not looking towards the man beside him. "Yet...sometimes it is best to do what can be done for yourself than for others." He paused again and shook his head a little. He shrugged after a minute and shifted himself to lean back against the tree, hands resting in his lap as he closed his eyes then to relax a little. "I may not know what it is like to have someone mean the world to me...but I do know what it is like to have siblings in need of help." He spoke up, keeping his eyes shut as he listened to their surroundings. "I am better off here because there is more that I can provide to these children who come here to this school." He added, still calm and relaxing from where he sat yet alert all the same. [googlefont=Marck Script][googlefont=Della Respira]
